HEALTHBUS IS HONOURED TO HAVE RECEIVED
THE KING’S AWARD FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE

This accolade is the highest a local voluntary group can receive in the UK, and is equivalent to an MBE. Announced in November 2023, it recognises the significant impact of our HealthBus volunteers and their work in the community.

We work successfully as one team, with clinicians, community partners, and homelessness services, to provide wrap-around support. This means assessments and treatment, including dentistry, mental health and addiction services and other practical help, can be delivered swiftly. This joined-up approach reduces pressure on busy frontline services and helps people move forward to purposeful, healthy living.
