Huge THANKS to local businesses and HealthBus supporters who have generously donated funds towards the Christmas Hamper Appeal 2022! This year the team managed to provide 200 hampers (which included a frozen turkey, dried goods, vegetables, treats and toys) to 200 vulnerable families across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole! Thank you so much for your kind donations!

What’s the Christmas Hamper Appeal?

The Christmas Hamper Appeal is in partnership with Bournemouth Foodbank and other local agencies.

Each year 200 hampers are delivered to families in crisis over the Christmas period. Each family will receive everything they need to eat and celebrate together for three days. The hampers include fresh and frozen food and Christmas goodies.

Over 6 tonnes of food will go out to feed as many as 1,000 people in need. This is made possible thanks to an incredible amount of support from local churches, businesses and other community groups. This really is a massive team effort!

Who’s it for?

Christmas hampers are delivered to families in crisis all across the Bournemouth area.

The project is supported by local businesses, charities and community groups as well as local government and healthcare providers. Partners can nominate families, pledge food, recruit drivers and sponsor hampers.

When does it take place?
