MP Jessica Toale raises homeless concerns in Parliament

On 7 May 2024, MP Jessica Toale raised vital concerns about homelessness during a parliamentary session, highlighting the urgent need for improved healthcare access for those most vulnerable. In her address, she commended the innovative work of the HealthBus Trust, describing it as a model that could be shared and scaled to reach more people experiencing homelessness across the UK.

Jessica Toale’s recognition of the HealthBus reflects growing awareness of how mobile, trauma-informed healthcare can reduce health inequalities and support recovery. By taking care directly to the streets, the HealthBus Trust ensures that people who are often excluded from mainstream services receive timely, compassionate medical support.

We are proud that our work in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole is being recognised at a national level—and we hope it inspires wider adoption of similar approaches to bring hope and healing to those who need it most.
