HealthBus invited to Guildhall London, for Hospital Saturday Fund AGM

On Thursday, 11th May 2023, The Hospital Saturday Fund (HSF) held its 16th Annual General Meeting at the Guildhall in London. At the event, The Hospital Saturday Fund was thrilled to have Alan Titchmarsh as their special guest. Following his speech, Alan was presented with a grant of £20,000 for Treloar’s, a special education school by John Greenwood, Chair of The Hospital Saturday Fund.

Alan Titchmarsh is a renowned British Gardener, Author, Broadcaster, TV Presenter and Poet. Best known for his extensive knowledge of horticulture and landscape design with programmes such as Ground Force and The Chelsea Flower Show. With over 40 years of experience in the industry, Alan has become an influential figure in the world of gardening, inspiring and educating millions of people around the globe

The Hospital Saturday Fund is a registered charity whose aims are to provide assistance through its charitable funds for registered health charities, hospices and medical organisations who are in need of grants for medical projects, care, research or support of medical training within the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Individuals with a medical condition or disability would benefit from assistance with the purchase of specialised equipment or from practical forms of treatment. HSF have donated millions of pounds over the past few decades supporting tens of thousands of UK charities all seeking to bring significant change to their communities via medial interventions.

Back in March 2023, HSF made a £800.00 donation to the HealthBus Trust for essential medical equipment to be utilised in the mobile clinic. CEO Paul Jackson states,

“The HSF seeks to partner with organisations and charities that transform peoples lives. It my pleasure to travel the country and connect with so many incredible people and organisations. HealthBus Trust is one of these organisations which are working tirelessly to help the most needy in the community. I am thrilled to have met the team and visit Bournemouth on serval occasions“.
