Our Winter Immunisation Campaign has been overwhelmingly successful. Over the past few months, in collaboration with NHS Dorset Healthcare, we have given 213 vaccinations at multiple locations across BCP and Dorset. Thank you to Routes 2 Roots, Lansdowne Church, St. Swithin’s Church, The Ferryman, YMCA, Bridport Community Soup Kitchen, Hope for Food and BH1 for hosting the vaccination team and to all the volunteers who made the clinics possible.

Special thanks to Lead Nurse Vaccinator, Holly Wentworth, for partnering with the HealthBus team. We are so grateful for Holly’s unwavering support and dedication to addressing health inequalities.

This year’s campaign has positively impacted patients’ engagement, health and wellbeing.

The HealthBus have adopted the Core20Plus5 national NHS England approach to vaccinate homeless people to proactively reduce health inequalities, prevent disease, promote health and increase access to healthcare.
