Phillipa’s Christmas Challenge in support of homeless women

UPDATE 19 Dec 2025: Due to unforeseen circumstances and adverse conditions with safety at the forefront of our minds, there has a small change to the challenge, as she will be running 43 kilometres each day instead of miles.

She’ll run 43 kilometres a day for 5 consecutive days to raise awareness and funds

This Christmas, Phillipa Rolle is taking on an extraordinary challenge: running 43 kilometres a day across Dorset from 22nd to 26th December, covering an astonishing 215 kilometres in just five days.

She’s doing it to raise vital awareness and funds for the HealthBus, a charity providing healthcare and hope to people experiencing homelessness — with a particular focus on women living on the streets.

For these women, the reality is stark: their average life expectancy is just 43 years. Phillipa’s “43 for 43”challenge is a moving and determined tribute to them — and a call to action for all of us to help change that statistic.

Every kilometre Phillipa runs is a statement of compassion, strength, and hope. She wants to raise at least £4,300 to raise awareness of the life expectancy of women on the streets.
