HealthBus appoints new Chairman!

At the Trustees meeting held on 14 September 2023, the board formally thanked Dr Gareth Sherwood for his contribution and leadership over the past 3 years as he came to the end of his chairmanship. The board then voted for Chris Wakefield as the new Chairman. Chris is a management professional and worked as a hospital manager for a number of years. He has been involved in charitable work for the last 20 years and established three charities giving him extensive experience in partnerships and fundraising. Chris’s expertise and charisma enabled him to be a Bournemouth Councillor for 12 years, working in the ward of Boscombe West. The Trust is delighted in congratulating Chris on his new role on the board.
