The Hedley Foundation awards a capital grant for essential resources

HealthBus Trust is delighted to thank The Hedley Foundation for a £2,600 capital grant to purchase Wi-Fi routers and a defibrillator (AED) for our outreach work across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

These items are essential. Reliable Wi-Fi keeps our clinical team securely connected while on the move, enabling real-time access to patient notes, timely updates, safer decision-making, and smoother referrals. Tracking and monitoring care at the roadside or in community settings makes our outreach more efficient and ensures continuity for people who rarely access traditional services.

Equipping our outreach car with a defibrillator brings added reassurance for patients, volunteers and staff, ensuring a lifesaving kit is on hand if ever needed.
