HealthBus Trustee Sam Acton Champions Women’s Leadership at Westminster Summit

HealthBus is proud to celebrate the involvement of our Trustee, Sam Acton, in the World Business Women Summit 2026, held at the historic Palace of Westminster on Thursday 22 October 2026.

Hosted through the Savvitas World Business Women programme, the international summit brought together entrepreneurs, business leaders, parliamentarians and emerging talent around this year’s theme, “Growth & Opportunity”. The discussions explored how women can overcome barriers, access opportunities and shape the next generation of business leadership.

As founder of Bournemouth-based Domestic Angels, Sam has built a successful enterprise that creates employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for women. Recognised through the MP HERoes initiative and serving as a Savvitas Global Ambassador, she champions women’s enterprise regionally, nationally and internationally. Whilst chairing meetings, her involvement in the summit reflects a longstanding commitment to helping women influence decisions and achieve their ambitions.

The programme included “Next Gen Now”, showcasing future leaders, alongside “Innovation Without Borders”, exploring authentic leadership, innovation and international collaboration. Both sessions emphasised the value of connecting established leaders with emerging voices to create meaningful change.

At HealthBus, we see the importance of this very same principle: listening, inclusion and opportunities for people whose voices are too often unheard. Sam brings invaluable business insight, strategic thinking and advocacy to our Board as we strengthen specialist healthcare for people experiencing homelessness across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.

We warmly congratulate Sam on her continued contribution to women’s leadership and on representing the power of purpose-driven enterprise.
