HealthBus becomes a member of Homeless Link
HealthBus is delighted to announce that we have joined Homeless Link, the national membership charity for organisations working directly with people experiencing homelessness in England. As part of a network of more than 800 organisations and individuals, this is an important and positive step for HealthBus as we continue to strengthen our voice, deepen partnerships and champion better outcomes for the people we serve. Homeless Link offers valuable support across training, policy and influencing, research, data and information services, consultancy, funding insight, and support for local partnership working. Membership also provides access to expert sector events, practical resources, peer learning, and tools that help frontline organisations build capacity, strengthen services and contribute to shaping national policy.
We are especially encouraged that Homeless Link’s values and approach so strongly reflect our own, particularly its commitment to improving services, influencing change and keeping people with lived experience at the heart of its work.
Deano Pickering, Executive Director of HealthBus, states:
“Joining Homeless Link is a really positive step for HealthBus. It strengthens our connection to sector learning, national advocacy and collective influence, while helping us continue to champion compassionate, effective support for people facing homelessness.”
