HealthBus on Community Connect January 2026
On 20 January 2026, Deano, Jordan, Myka and Phillipa joined Barry on Dorset Coast Radio’s Community Connect to celebrate Phillipa’s remarkable “43 for 43” challenge – completing 215km over Christmas 2025.
The conversation explored HealthBus’ ethos and vision, highlighting how nurse-led outreach healthcare offers dignity, stability and hope to people experiencing homelessness, while also acknowledging the stark realities many still face. Phillipa shared why raising awareness matters, particularly the shocking statistic that women sleeping rough in England have an average life expectancy of just 43 years. The interview has since inspired new supporters to join Bay Run 2026 as part of HealthBus Team 43.
