HealthBus & AJC Share upcoming Ultra Race & World Record Confirmation
On 23 July, Jordan, Phillipa and Dave joined Barry on Dorset Coast Radio to share the community support and heroic fundraising efforts helping HealthBus deliver specialist healthcare to people experiencing homelessness across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
During the interview, Phillipa spoke about her extraordinary upcoming challenge: taking on the Race Across Scotland in August. This demanding endurance event will test her strength, determination and resilience as she raises funds and awareness for HealthBus. Her commitment is a powerful example of how individual courage can create a meaningful difference for people facing homelessness and serious health inequalities.
Dave from AJC also shared some exciting news following the remarkable 24-hour bus pull. With the invaluable support of Blandford Rotary, the event’s official adjudication has now been completed, and the team’s achievement has been formally confirmed as a world record. This is a fitting recognition of the dedication, teamwork and sheer physical effort shown by everyone involved.
