International Women’s Day (2–8 March) Phillipa at Patch

As part of Patch Bournemouth’s week-long celebration of International Women’s Day (2–8 March), we were delighted that Phillipa Rolle, (GB Ultra Runner), with support from the Patch team, delivered a captivating talk on 02 March 2026 sharing her personal journey of championing charities and community causes.

Phillipa spoke openly about the experiences and values that have shaped her purpose-led work, and reflected on the past two years supporting HealthBus, helping to raise awareness of our nurse-led, trauma-informed outreach healthcare for people experiencing homelessness across BCP.

The evening also raised vital funds for HealthBus and gave attendees the chance to sign up for our upcoming TEAM43 awareness run at the Vitality Bournemouth Bay Run 2026 on 22 March. TEAM43 shines a light on an urgent reality: we highlight that women facing homelessness can die at an average age of just 43—and we’re determined to change that. (Image credit Chuks)
