HealthBus Trust is proud to have been awarded the Bronze Award under the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, recognising our commitment to the Armed Forces community. This recognition reflects our pledge to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant and to ensure that those who serve, have served, and their families are treated with fairness, dignity and respect.

For HealthBus, this commitment extends across both our healthcare provision and our role as an employer. We recognise that veterans and members of the Armed Forces community can face distinct physical, mental health and social challenges, including difficulties accessing support. Through our trauma-informed and non-judgemental approach, we aim to ensure that patients feel welcomed, understood and able to access the care they need.

The Bronze Award also demonstrates our commitment to supporting staff who serve, have served, or are connected to the Armed Forces community. We value the experience, resilience, leadership and transferable skills they bring to our organisation.
