HealthBus Harbour Hike & Philippa’s fundraising raises over £1,000

On Saturday 29 August 2026, Phillipa and ten other supporters set out on the HealthBus Harbour Hike, raising vital funds to help HealthBus Trust care for people experiencing homelessness.

The walkers gathered at Poole Park at 8am before following the Poole Harbour Trail. Eight members of the group completed the 13-mile route to Wareham, while two took on the 30-mile hike via Studland, completing the full loop back to Poole Park.

Every mile walked helped raise awareness of the serious health inequalities faced by people experiencing homelessness and supported HealthBus in providing accessible, specialist healthcare, practical help and compassionate support to those who often struggle to access mainstream services.

Together with funds raised through the Race Across Scotland challenge, the combined fundraising total has now exceeded £1,000—an incredible achievement made possible by the commitment of everyone who took part and the generosity of those who donated.

A heartfelt thank you to Phillipa, all the walkers, supporters and donors who made the Harbour Hike such a success. Your encouragement, generosity and determination will help HealthBus continue reaching people who need care most and make a meaningful difference to lives across our community.
